You Get Shown The Light

Last Sunday I was having kind of âa dayâ, was inside of my head and not really in a positive and happy place. Not a fan at all!!! So Kyler and I decided to make a few turns at S6. Change of scenery, fresh air, vitamin D - healing things. First ride up the lift, a kind man sat next to me, and we started chatting. As we talked, I glanced at his helmet and saw a sticker with one of my most favorite lyrics - Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right. It hit me right where Jerry and Robert intended it to hit, my heart and soul. Immediately I felt the light and the love and my mood shifted to that positive and happy place where I like to live.
Itâs the little things, the connections that we make, the moments that we have with others that helps shine our soul. It just took one chair lift ride with an open and lovely human to shift my perspective, reminding me to stay open and to let love in.
