I know, I know......it's snowing outside right now. Some might be rejoicing, while others are annoyed by the swirling flakes. But as I always say during an "every other burpee session", nothing lasts forever. Spring is on its way! 3 days, to be exact.
I LOVE spring! Out with the desire to hibernate, curl up by the cozy fire, and eat comfort food, in with birds chirping, flowers blooming, and open windows. Now's the perfect time to sweep the cobwebs out of your cold weather diet with a dose of fresh veggies - garden fresh asparagus is coming! With the longer days and warmer temps, it's easier to find some time (and desire) to get outside for some sweaty play and ramp up your Vitamin D levels.
Here's to spring skiing, a short mud season, and running outside. Here's to hydrating your body and eating fruits and veggies at every meal. Here's to being kind and generous to others and to yourself. Here's to stretching every day, finding joy in the little things, and having the focus to be aware.
