Wake Up Those Glutes!


Gluteal Amnesia, also called Dead Butt Syndrome, occurs when your glute muscles become inactive due to prolonged sitting, causing other muscles to overcompensate. This can lead to hip, back, or knee pain.


Symptoms include tight hips, weak glutes, and discomfort during physical activities like running, squatting or even walking. Over time, this may lead to sciatica or arthritis.


Prevent Gluteal Amnesia by taking breaks from sitting, performing glute-activation exercises like squats and bridges, and stretching tight hip flexors. Keeping your glutes active ensures better overall body function and reduces injury risk.


Get moving, activate those glutes, and keep your body happy and healthy!!
