You Are Whole. Right Now.

I’m just finishing up a class in Ayurveda & Yoga - so much Sanskrit! I feel like I now have the tiniest bit of understanding of this deep and fascinating form of healing and wellness. One philosophy that really stuck with me is Santosha - the practice of contentment, peace, and gratitude for what is.


Santosha reminds us to stop chasing “I’ll be happy when…” and instead find joy in the present moment. It’s the belief that we already have enough, that we are enough. Practicing Santosha doesn’t mean giving up on growth - it means grounding ourselves in appreciation while staying open to what’s next. 

We can live Santosha by slowing down, appreciating simple moments, and caring for what we already have - our bodies, our homes, our communities. It’s a really lovely shift from striving to simply being.


Contentment is health.


It’s the feeling of wholeness right here and now - a calm nervous system, a steady heart, the knowing that no one and nothing can complete you…..because you already are. 💛
