Ch Ch Ch Ch Changes!

Good morning to my fit friends! As August comes to a close on Monday, I'm feeling this super sense of motivation and inspiration. You know me, I truly do my best with aschedule and plan (and I LOVE fall!!!). School is starting and with that means a stricter schedule is most likely about to happen for most of us.
I woke up this morning (super early) thinking about what I want for myself for September. I always have my 'water' goal and my 'eating well most of the time' goal but I'm going to step things up a bit this month. I like to make SMART goals - specific, measurable, attainable, realistic or relevant, and time-bound. I break down my goals into parts - a nutrition goal, a physical activity goal, and a behavioral goal.
My short-term goals for September:
Nutrition - I am going to not drink any alcohol at least 3 days per week (umm, after isolation, homeschooling, and summertime, this is a really big ask but I can do it.). :)
Physical Activity - I am going to add two days of running (30 minutes minimum) to my exercise schedule each week.
Behavioral - I will work hard and be kind and help my family do the same as we begin this funky new school year. I will set my schedule and make a plan but be ready for ch ch ch ch changes (because if nothing else, this pandemic has taught a lot of us how to be a bit more adaptable)!!!

If you're one who likes homework (like me), print that bad boy out and get to work. If that's not your thing, that's fine too. I do encourage you to think about ways to increase your wellness though. Team SoulShine for the win!!!
Onto the schedule and such. Beginning this week, we will be going back to our normal 8:15-9:15 am class schedule. We'll see how well this time works for the next couple of weeks and then reevaluate. I am also going to increase the class fee from 10 dollars per class to 12. If this is a problem for you, please talk to me. I seriously do not want you breaking the bank and will work with any of you, if the increase will be too much. I want you getting your SoulShines in!! :)
Please, please, please sign up for your class(es) at the beginning of the week and pay for them at that time too. This will help me with my class planning but then it will also help you with your follow through. If you need to cancel, I get it. Please let me know 24 hours in advance. I have a max in person class size that I need to stick with so if you reserve a spot, please try to make it. One more thing, if you have yet to pay for any old classes, now's a perfect time to settle up.
