The Schedule

Hey Team! I hope that your weekend has been great and that you've accomplished all that you needed to get done. Today I learned the new PiYo and it's a good one! Our Sweaty Selfie Challenge has been successful this week....lots of pics coming in of our motivated smiles! If you've yet to play, now's the time. Send in your number of exercise sessions that you plan on completing now. Just do it! I promise you that it will make your life feel more complete. :)

Wondering how much should you eat? Here's the recommended daily amount for a 2000 calorie diet:

Whole Grains - 12 ounces

Veggies - 3 cups

Fruits - 2 cups


Dairy - 3 cups


Protein - 6 ounces


Oils - 29 grams


Calories from added fats and sugars - 245 calories

Remember to balance your calories. Only eat the amount of calories that your body needs. Slow down while eating to truly enjoy your food and try to minimize distractions like television. Avoid oversized portions…use smaller plates. Eat more veggies, fruits, whole grains, and fat-free or low fat milk dairy products. Make half your plate fruits and veggies. And most importantly, DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!!
