šThe 7:1 Sleep Rule: Your Body Loves Rhythmš

SoulShiners,
With daylight savings tonight, it feels like a good time to talk about sleep.
Thereās something called the 7:1 sleep rule - aiming for about seven hours of sleep with a consistent bedtime within a one-hour window each night. A huge study analyzing 47 million nights of sleep found that people who follow this pattern reduce their risk of early death by about 24% and may even add up to 4 years to their life.
But hereās the surprising partā¦.
Consistency matters just as much as the hours.
Going to bed around the same time each night helps regulate your body clock, improves hormone balance, supports metabolism, and helps your brain and nervous system truly recover.
With the clocks changing tonight, itās a great little reset.
Tonight try to:
wind down earlier
turn screens off sooner
get outside for sunlight tomorrow morning (itās going to be a gorgeous day!!!)
Your body loves rhythm. And good sleep is one of the most powerful forms of recovery we have.
Sleep well tonight, friends!!
Jode xo
