Hey everyone!! I hope that you've had a great week. I just got home from visiting Elmira, NY (my hometown) and had an amazingly fabulous week with my family and friends! Lots of cards and catching up and relaxing and cocktailing and eating, but I was able to even out the less than splendid ingesting (mostly) by getting in a workout each day and drinking my normal gallon of water. How about you? Are you feeling a little tired and overfed or are you keeping your good and healthy control? Well, if not, tomorrow is a new day! :)
Make your plan now to get in workouts this week, eat food that will nourish you and power you, drink lots of water, and get your 8 hours of sleep. We will begin our December SoulShine Challenge on Friday, for those of you who want to play along. It's a water challenge and I'm going to ask each of you lucky participants to drink a gallon per day in December. It will be very simple, ummmmm kinda. Just say the word, take a picture of yourself (for your eyes only) in order to see the visual benefits to your skin and hair, and drink!
Basically, you will be challenging yourself to drink the water but with the motivation and support of knowing that you are a part of a team of water drinkers who are in the exact same boat as you.....lots of bathroom time, xo. I have been drinking a gallon of water per day for about 4 or 5 years, at this point. It's pretty easy for me, on most days. I fill up a gallon jug and keep it on my counter and then just make sure that it's gone by bedtime. I never leave home without my Nalgene 32 ouncer. It's easy for me now because I have gotten into the habit of it. It wasn't always that way and it probably won't be easy for you in the beginning...that's why it's called a CHALLENGE. :)
