Yo yo!! Did you know that sleep helps regulate appetite? People who are sleep-deprived produce more ghrelin, a hormone that increases feelings of hunger, and less leptin, a hormone that lets you know that you're full. Also, when you're tired, you crave a quick hit of energy, that's most easily acquired through sugary junk food.
Step away from the snickers you find in your kid's halloween bag tucked into the corner of their bedroom or the birthday cupcakes in the conference room or the calorie dense breakfast smothered in syrup. It is not worth the few minutes of pleasure. Sleep, my peeps. Get your 8 hours and remember your health-focused mindset!!!
Here's our super abbreviated class schedule for this week. I look forward to kicking your lovely ass all the way through December though. :)
Monday - HIIT at The Rec - 8:15-9:15 am
Tuesday- PiYo at The Rec - 8:15-9:15 am
Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you, thank you for trusting me, for playing with me, and for making my life so full and happy. I love you and love looking after you.
